Benzoin eo

Hey all,

I just received some benzoin eo from bulk apothecary and it smells divine. earthy vanilla. I have never worked with it before and really want to preserve that sweet smell in the final cp soap. Does anyone have experience working with this? It is kind of thick so does it need to be thinned? Also I know it can be a sentizer but how high can I go to still retain the sent?

Any tips or tricks for working with it would be great!!

Its a great scent as an enhancer to others. Use sparingly as it can dominate other EO's or FO's.

Benzoin is often used in perfumes. It acts as an anchor; but a little goes a long way.
