Bentonite as emulsifier ?

Bumped into this while randomly surfing the net - has anybody heard of it ?

No I wouldn't want to depend on it as an emulsifier. I use it in soaps to anchor the scent. I have also used clay in bath bombs, but never as an emulsifier.

I have heard of people using it as part of theor emulsification sytem, but not only bentonite.
