Hi I made some beer soap a few nights ago. I remembered to make the beer flat but forgot to heat it up to evaporate off the alcohol. I did HP the beer though and was wondering if the soap will be OK. what does the presence of alcohol do to CP soap if I used that method?

As far as I know, the main issue with adding alcohol to soap is that its drying, and that it can make the soap seize ..... But I'd guess for HP that wouldn't have been a problem. You may just end up with soap that's more drying than you'd hoped.

I never boil my beer before making my soap. I just leave it in a container to go flat and then soap as usual. Never had a problem with seizing or other problems. Also don't find it makes my soap drying either. Your soap should be just fine.
