trying out different recipes. Love using the Soap Calc. I've made 4 different recipes over the last few weeks, and I've been having so much fun. I tried using a few different natural things for colorants, and have not been pleased with the results of the things I have been able to obtain locally. Tested these things, before trying in soap, and all just turned brown. I ordered a set of select blends for oo and think these will be nice to work with. I made a layer of pink on one soap and it was very nice. I tried to use them to color a saltbar batch, but it did not want to take, wondering if this was caused by fragrance oil or due to the fact the bar was mostly co. Recipe was
co 20%
castor oil 5%
cocoa butter 15%
lard 25%
olive 5%
EO- Lavender, Peppermint, lemon, orange, FO- White Linen
Any and all opinons welcome. Thanks and have a great day!
