I have only just started out making Candle melt tarts, bath bombs, soaps and bath melts.. with a little success and little failure too in the melts and bombs.. bombs are too crumbly, and the bath melts are too soft.. making the melts i use 70% cocoa butter and 30% shea, i think it should be more like 85% cocoa as its a harder butter.. the bath bombs is hit and miss.. so many formula's and recipes out there, its difficult to follow..

Nit really sure wuth regards to bath melts and bath bombs paul iv made bath bombs but like you they turned out too crumbly. While i was looking on amazon for something like night i cam across a product review that said they used it to make bath bombs think it was called a moon pie press so that might be worth looking into. Fir bath melts and bombs i would suggest maybe having a look for recipes on soap queen and wellnessmama sites both are crammed full of great crafty recipes. I ended up using the bath bomb powder as a toilet cleaner works a treat just wait about 20-30minutes before you flush

How have your soaps turned out Paul? Have you been using melt and pour or cp/hp method?

Im only in Wigan so not far from yourself. If you need any help sourcing ingridients or recipes im always happy to try and help you out :)

Hello,

I am new to the group and started my business back in april.

I find my bath melts work best with beeswax in and pilysorbate 80 to stop the bath being slippery etc. But I did find they melted less so I'm still working in the recipie 🤦🏼‍♀️

What recipie do you use for bath bombs. I formed my my own recipie and mine seem to hold really well.

I may be able to hell with your bath bombs if anyone can help me with my bath melts. I find as soon as I shop them they melt so bad. I am even going to try shipping them in clam shells!

Has anyone tried this xx
