i know this is going to be a stupid question to some, but i honestly have not much of a clue about these bath bombs/bubble bombs (assuming the same thing?).

what is the advantage of these, over regular bubble bath? is there a cost savings? what would you guestimate the average cost of one of these being? do you use the whole thing (just toss it in)? does it fizz?

my 4-year-old daughter is the only bath-taker in my house, and she might get a kick out of these. are these okay for children? or would they be too sensitive for this type of product?

thanks

I like the fizzy and bubbly bath bombs best myself. The cost depends on what kind of ingredients goes in the bath bombs. I use a little clay in my bath bombs to help them pack tightly. Some fragrance oils or essential oils can really hike up the cost. Adding SLSA to the ingredients will make the bubbles. SLSA is over $9 per pound plus shipping at Essential Wholesale. Citric acid makes the fizz. It is $8 per lb at Essential Wholesale.
The only problem I see would be that they might cause urinary tract infections if used too often. You would have to make sure that none of the ingredients would cause skin allergies for your child also. I guess the only way to gauge that would be to use a spot skin test.

bubble baths aren't exactly healthy for small children from what my DD's DR has told me. maybe once in a while is ok though?

I think that would depend on what was in the bubblebath. If it was a liquid bubblebath with coco betaine for example it would be one heck of a lot milder than a bubble bomb with slsa. There are quite a few mild & gentle surfactants out there nowadays. :)
