Batch two of "Simply Oatmeal"

This is an unfragranced soap (by request) with just finely ground and sifted organic oatmeal added. I used my shea/cocoa butter recipe and added a generous amount of creamy coconut milk. I reserved some batter (without the oats) to make the top white and creamy but the main body of the soap is with oatmeal. It smells good even though it isnt scented. Smells faintly of coconut and cocoa butter :mrgreen:

I LOOOOVE coconut ice cream! Every time I eat it , it reminds me of this resort i stayed at in Cabo, Mexico. I wish I could relive that time...pure heaven

Doesnt that sound delicious?! I've been wanting to make a chocolate oatmeal bar too! YUM. Ive thought about chocolate and coconut, sort of like a chocolate dipped macaroon but coconut, almond sounds divine!

hmmm, could put lots of coconut in it and squeeze it out a piping bag like a macaron and then drizzle chocolate soap on it.... yum!

Just outstanding. You did such a good job on the swirl top! I can't wait to see it cut into bars. The idea of oatmeal with coconut milk is a winner and lots of people like unscented but still want a luxury soap.

What kind of mold is that? It appears as if it does not need to be lined. I think the husband could make me one, is it plexiglass?

It is actually acrylic and it doesnt need to be lined although i do put a small piece of wax parchment paper on the very bottom. This is where I got it:

ya, I've had my fair share of ivory soap, YUCK! Stopped me from swearing around my parents at the time though lol!
