Bartimus Bay Rum Shaving Soap

Named after my favorite dog in the whole world...Bart (who passed away last year)...this is my shaving soap creation. I am so proud of this because my husband loves it. He can shave his two day old beard like nothing. No dragging razor like with his old shaving cream.

I posted my recipe in another post and tweaked it again a little with olive oil instead of avocado and apricot (ran out). It's HP as there's no way this would work with CP due to the stearic acid. It's nice and creamy and stays creamy on his beard. I had two different labels and then realized both had the wrong ingredients on them. Oh well, it's just for family. The can is just a bath salt can from Michaels.

It's so fun making something that works!

I seem to name my wines and soaps after Bart! I can finally look back and think about Bart with smiles and laughter. It's such a good feeling. I think a lot of people feel the same!
