I made a beautiful soap today and after I had it in the mold and set in the freezer for about an hour, I found the Fragrance Oil on the counter. So a few hours later I made a batch of lotion, and when testing it, I found that there was a little bit of grit in it. I am thinking that the stearic acid didn't dissolve completely. What a frustrating day.

Bummer. I don't know how to fix the lotion because if you heat it up, you would negate the preservative. As far as the soap, you could sell it as unscented limited edition (or you could rebatch).

I'd sell the soap as Unscented! I always here about how frustrating it is for people with sensitive skin to buy soap because they always get stuck with ugly plain bars. Just because it's unscented doesn't mean it has to look medicinal. I know how hard it is to purposely make a beautiful soap with no fragrance (because it feels like a waste) but since you did it by accident, you might as well! :)
