Your soap looks fantastic , I love the color and the texture . I might have to copy your high tech soap cutting device .

Gorgeous rustic soap - beautiful creamy colour! I like a handle on my cutter - I am so coordination challenged  You should see me measure and cut my soap loaves....sheesh! Takes me (I kid you not) about an hour to cut a loaf into 10 bars.....and they are not all even! I sooooo need a cutter guide.

Tanya :)

Is that the recipe I use for Sweetpea Delight? It is lovely and the base oil blend does trace fairly quickly with an SB....and of course depending on the fo it can go like lightening! I use it also with a Plumeria fo from Aussie Soap Supplies and even with no water discount it sets up in minutes! Try swirling that!

Yes that is the base oils I use for SPD and others, although now I can source Aussie palm oil I use 15% Palm and 5% Shea Butter - it is my starting recipe before I 'play'! I find soaping at about 35-38 degress celcius it is at light trace within 5 minutes using the SB. Using RTCP it takes about twice as long, so if I am using a tricky fo I don't discount my liquid, soap RTCP and whisk/stir more than I SB. The oil/butter combo is lovely on my skin. I hope you like it too :D

I actually really like the look you got with the bubble wrap! To me it looks like it'd be perfect for a soap that had a honey in it. Sort of a beeswax/honeycomb theme. Anyway, cute! (if unintentional)

:D good job on the wire cutter! :D

cutting 'free-style' like that definitely requires good hand-to-eye coordination to get them even and square!

i like the "rustic-cottage" appeal of you soaps-they show lots of character.

you might want to see if you can get 'litsea cubeba" (may chang) essential oil down there. up here it's cheap-a great lemon scent, long lasting and no "drama" to soaping.

love the soap!

Those are just the cutest little bars of soap! I'm sure the smell is delicious. I love the rustic look myself. It says homemade and people love that!

Gorgeous soaps! Really like the color and tops, makes them special, and besides that I fellin love with the lemon-verbena scent ;)

Very good job, especially when the Fo turned against you :D
