August 2020 SMF Challenge - Zig Zag Cosmic Wave Technique Entry Thread

My entry. Scented with Earl Grey FO from Mad Oils. Colorants: Tennis Ball Breaker (MM), Bright Yellow Raincoat (MM), Indigo (NS), French Green Clay (NS).
While I had a few fails, I also had some attempts that I loved. I chose this one because it had the nicest contrast as well as the exaggerated arcs of wave movement I wanted.

I made it! I have an entry!
Got quite a bit of ash, but decided to keep it, because I kind of like the effect.
Scented with orchard plow (eocalc) and colored with AC and annatto (and some poppy seeds that got lost in the mix)

Ok, I'll break the Ice.
It was my very first challenge. This is a very tricky method and it takes practice. I only managed to "successfully" make it on the 4th try. But It was fun and I learnt A LOT.
I might still update the photo later. But I'm happy with my creation. Considering it's my fist challenge.

the soaps posted are all so beautiful. I do plan to make this as soon as my back allows me to lift the soap batter long enough to do a pour.

I agree with @sarahmarah. Thank you everyone! This was such a great learning experience to participate in. There is a definite feeling of 'safety' here that allows and motivates you to try the 'hard' things.
