What's the difference between arrowroot powder and cornstarch - I mean, in terms of people's preference? Why use one over the other? I have various uses I'm thinking of - like lotion bars and whipped butter (and others I probably haven't thought of yet).

Thanks for your help!

Sorry to bump this up, but I want to place an order and I'm wondering if I should bother with arrowroot powder (I've got corn starch at home, of course). Or maybe there's something even better I should get???

Cornstarch and Arrowroot powder are very similar. The only difference that I've really seen is that there are a lot of people with corn allergies that can not use it.

Personally I like rice flour. It does the same as arrowroot, but it's usually cheaper and a lot of times you can find it in your local grocery stores.
