The issue with how quickly melts in the use of handmade soap I solve .... I use clays with fragrances that fade. Litsea cubeba essential oil can also help anchor citrus essential oil scent. I have never had any problem with fragrances migrating from one batch of soap to the next, even when stored togehter.

Perhaps not indefinitely, but storing the bars in a box with a cotton ball that has the scent on it can help maintain the fragrance as well.
