Just curious if anyone's tried adding applesauce into their cold process before? I found very little info about it.
Bramble Berry has a recipe, but the water content seems super high to me :p

I have added apple, (cooked it in water and the blended it) it sort of looked like applesauce but thicker. I passed it through a colander. It turned brownish but not too dark, and you could see small speckles on the soap. (My fragrance discolored some so it could have been that too).

Besides possible texture differences, what kind of properties would that add to soap - more bubbles?
Good question! I think some items are added to soap mostly for label appeal. I only added it because it was part of a collaboration and one of the rules was to use it. (I made a snow white themed soap).

Fair, my Kombucha Soap is mostly for label appeal; though it does seem to have a more silky feel than my other soaps.
