apple cider vinegar

Hi. Has anyone tried putting apple cider vinegar in cp soap? if so, what happened and why did you put it in?

Wouldn't the vinegar neutralize the lye? I keep a bottle of apple cider vinegar on hand to use if the lye spills on my skin, haven't had to use it so far, knock on wood.

Would apple cider vinegar work the same as regular vinegar?

I have read to make sure to have the white vinegar on hand for the lye spills. I don't think i would use any sort of vinegar in my soap. It may ruin the batch.

of course vinegar wouldn't work at all. Don't know what I was thinking.

yes theyre correct...vinegar+lye = neutralized!
