Stuck in my head
Not for me. My hub and I are going to look at a travel trailor early Saturday morning and then I keep saying it but this weekend IS the weekend for me to finish that inventory. I am DETERMINED to do it... :)

Then next week my bonus and raise will be effective so I am going to purchase Soapmaker and plug all my inventory/prices into that program and then next weekend make soap. :)

I took the day off from work today, and so far I've made some castile soap with  Butt Naked  fragrance. I may make some jasmine in a bit.

I got a ton of new fragrances in last week, so I'll most likely be soaping up a storm, like I have been for the past few days!

Depends on DH is feeling when he gets home. He had the beginnings of a cold, so if it's still there, I'll be making my no petroleum, menthol salve.

I'm going to try out a dog soap recipe, too.

I'll be making a 1 lb batch of 75% CO/25% Cocoa Butter with 1/3 coconut milk @ 15% superfat. I'm scenting it with my blend of Chocolate Mousse and a little bit of Intense Almond, both from MMS. I am making it for the express purpose of chunking it up in order to add to in a tallow batch I'll be making later on which will be scented with Coconut Milk FO from the now defunct AGE. I've made this soap before and it came out so good and yummy smelling that I'm doing it again. :)

I have to go grocery and other shopping on Saturday  (sigh, I'd rather be soaping). I'm going to make soap on Sunday but not sure what yet. I was going to do a chunk soap using a couple of soaps that didn't come out the way I wanted. I made a test batch the other day and really liked it but the fragrance was faint. I hadn't added any more EO because the chunks were already scented. Now, I'm trying to decide what to do about scenting.

Anyway, I will probably have to make my Creamy Sweet Cucumber soap because one of my regular customers phoned and said she was nearly out. I'll also be making my moisturizing face lotion for mature skin because I've had a request for that as well. It's so exciting when people try the products and then come back for more!! :D :D

I'll be doing some more rebatching with the grandkids and tonight while I have the house to myself I'm going to give that 100% CO soap a shot :)

I got some new FO's in today so I will be having some fun with them.

The new stuff is:

Frosted Lemon Pound Cake
Afican Wild Gardenia ---- My mom's favorite
Coconut Breeze
Top Banana
Baby Sweetheart Roses
Grass Patch
Peppermint Ice
Chocolate Truffle
Summer Strawberry

Well so far today I've made a soap using curls of soap I wasn't happy with (thanks TAS) and a GM Honey soap. I've really got to push if I am going to have enough inventory for mid-March and April. So I'm hoping to get 4 or 5 more batches done this weekend. I also got my beef tallow in yesterday so I used it today too. I need some more Lavender Soap so I might make that tomorrow and I have to figure out what I have and what I need.

No soaping this weekend for me...I will be trimming, tidying up and taking pics of the last few batches of soap I have made. I really need more soap curing space which is why I can't make any more soap just yet! Okay......now I have a weekend project!

Soap bags for fire victims

I am getting some bags of soap and essentials such as toothpaste face cloths and many little extras ,ready to send to fire victims. Probably c/o hospital there.
Tanya is doing the same.
I am aiming for a folksie personal, hand done effect but still one that will give cheer.
Those bags will be only about a third filled I imagine.
Tis a big job.

Thankyou for that complement.
Sometimes I imagine my place as a camping park. It is a trick to make me get things tidied up.I am not one of those natural neatness freaks ,so I need every trick to motivate my self. But who knows ?
I have put a lot of my energy into these bags to get them right. As humble and small as it is. I feel quite spaced out from it. I think I had better get outside and earth myself. Hope TC's okay

Mary they are very beautiful. You are such an inspiration to me in every way that you live your life.
The fire victims are going to be so touched by your thoughtfulness.

Thank you , a bit wild really.
We are holding off sending them yet ,apparently the distribution channels aren't clear yet. They will go at the perfect time no doupt.

Yes that's an excellent idea Chrissy. Right now all everyone wants is money, food and clothing to be donated...soon care packages of other things will be needed and then Mary's wonderful idea can be put into effect.

Tanya :)
