Interesting. I usually do not have that problem though, but it could be that sometimes, not always, I add palm kernel flakes at 3 to 5 %. It makes a very bubbly bar.
anyone really test lard vs palm?

Yes, same here. Lots of lather and thick too but I use PKO now instead of Coconut. I find it’s milder and the lather is great and I don’t know how to describe it ‘softer’ than coconut oil. Mine is plenty unrefined though. Has a smell similar to Shea Butter.
I used to use pkf but never ordered more when I ran out a couple years ago.
I need to order more, I know I liked it better than coconut but I don't remember more bubbles.
There is nothing wrong with the palm soap, it's just not as nice as the lard.
Made a batch with tallow and lard, we'll see how it compares.
