I am looking for a clear container that I can put my gardeners soaps into. I wrap them in clear wrap first and then want to put them into something to help protect them more than anything from damage while shipping or while on display. Ideally a very "cheap" option! it would need to be 2.5" across by 1" deep to accommodate the soap. I have found several containers like what candy comes in, but just cant get the size right.

Any help would be great. If no one has any ideas, I may just have to use the metal tins with the clear lids, but they are rather pricey. Anyone have a reasonable source for them also???

Thanks!

I'm not going to be of much help I'm guessing, but do you really need the containers? I ship my soap without any more protection than any other package (just old plastic grocery bags or crumpled newspaper). I've never had a problem with the soap. Is the gardner soap really soft? Oh, and maybe try one of those sliding soap boxes? They're cardboard, but if you just want to keep the soap protected, they'd work I imagine. Plus you could label them right up and sell the soap just like that at a stand or store even.
