Anybody put mashed bananas in CP soap?

Has anybody used mashed bananas in soap before? Does it leave specks like with banana bread? Does it cook in or go rancid? Just thinking..

I have used it. It works fine. I pureed it in coconut milk. It does leave specks. I think as long as you puree it well, it shouldn't spoil.

I tried it. The batch is still curing. I used 4.5oz in a 50oz batch. I discounted the water by 4.5oz.

I just pureed one banana. I weighed the pureed banana with coconut oil to make up half the amount of liquid, and I used water for the other half of the liquid and dissolved my lye in that. I added the pureed banana/coconut milk mixture to the oils.
