Heya me again :D
I went and bought a stick blender so not to waste so much soap mixture as a food blender, but when I used the stick blender (thankfully was just liquidizing some tomatos) it sprayed EVERYWHERE. Up the walls, counter and even on my face which is obv very dangerous if I was using it for soap.
Does anyone else have this problem? How would I overcome it? I just want to be more economical and less wastefull :(

Thanks
Kerry

submerge it even more - the container should not only be deep, but narrow, especially if there isn't much batter. also, i would have a separate stick blender each for food and soap.

tilt it as you put it in to let the air trapped under the bell to escape.

keeping the whole bell totally submerged should do it, though - even when you are moving the thing around.

i've never had one splatter (I've been through many) unless I wasn't paying attention.

how many oz of oil are you using? i make 30 oz batch with a sb like that and it doesnt spray, maybe use more oils?
