I just recently started soaping but am also interested in trying my hand at lotions. I am wondering if there are any good resources for copy cat lotion recipes. I was thinking some of the bath and body works lotions. Also when i have visited Disney they have H2O products that i like -- any resources for reproducing these?

Have you ever tried The Body Shop's body butter, which is actually more of a thick, luxurious lotion than a true anhydrous body butter. If so, and you like it, LotionCrafters formulated their own rendition of it. Here's the recipe they came up with: https://lotioncrafter.com/blogs/skin-care/body-butter-bliss

For what it's worth, I've made it and it's wonderful. It's the only lotion I like to make. Lotioncrafters even sells a kit for making 33 ounces of it if you don't want to spend the $$$ to buy full sizes of all the ingredients.

I actually just tried this recipe myself recently...it is so lovely. Rice bran & shea is definitely a winning combo in lotions.
