Another beginner Question..

by adding clay or other additives like poppy seeds,will it effect what ive got in the lyecalc? or thats seperate?

Its separate. soapcal is only for your oils, water and lye.

But, at the bottom of the page, there are handy sections to write down the additives and make notes. When you make soap, be absolutely sure to use those to record what you add, and any notes. Good record keeping ensures that you can duplicate successes and avoid repeating errors. In my soaping binder, I have a section named "Failures", lest I forget.
