I would like to try this recipe out but i'm having trouble with the calculator (I can try work % out till i'm blue in the face but just don't get it  )

Recipe:

http://aussiesoapsupplies.com.au/Bath-Jelly-p-88.html

I have the Liquid Germal Plus and it says to add at 0.3 % so when I type in:

...0.3% of 400 it comes to 1.2, does that sound correct (just so I know i'm understanding what i'm supposed to be typing in) also, that 1.2 is grams? (the whole recipe is measured in grams).

the calc:

I feel so dumb for asking because you all make it look so easy when the recipes are shown in %, give me a grams or oz recipe no problem but give me % and I run the other way lol.

Thanks Becky, it does look like fun hey, i'm just about to start making it but then as I measured out the preservative I found out it doesn't measure grams in point form e.g. 1.2 grams so now i'm about to go to the online weight conversion chart and measure from grams to ounzes

I had an idea that i'm going to test out, i'm going to put a squishy imbeddible lizard in one of the jelly cups :D

oh nooooo it turns out that 1.2 gram = 0.042 328 754 339 ounce BUT my $100 scales only measure from 0.1 and onwards
