aloe vera juice

I've been reading a few of your recipe ideas that discuss mixing the lye with aloe vera juice instead of water?

Anywhere I look it seems that aloe vera juice is expensive. Do you know somewhere to get it cheap?

And what would be the main benefits of using aloe instead of water?

Would the properties of the aloe not disappear when mixed with the lye?

Walmart is a good place to look.

I buy mine in Wal-Mart. It can be found in a gallon jug and is found in the laxative section and costs under $8.00

K-Mart also has it but costs a little more than wal-mart, I'm not sure about target through because I don't shop there.
