Finally, I can cut strait! My devoted husband built me a guillotine guide out of some wood scraps. It fits the soaps that come out of my loaf mold. What a concept to have all of the bars the same size and shape! Next project for him will be a mold and cutter in one!

They look great. Soap cutters are so darn expensive. My wonderful husband actually made me one with piano wires and cuts my whole loaf at once. What a timesaver it has been.

Can you pls give a brief description on how did you make it?

Don't you love straight, even cutting! Your soap is pretty btw. My fav colors.

Very nice!! Good hubby. He should get a treat.

I made my own cutter out of wood, too, but I used new pieces of wood from the store, based on this YouTube video for [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ftPAj3m0A6k"]DIY Economical Soap Cutter[/ame]

I want one of these so badly! I wouldn't have a clue how to make one and the prices to buy them are crazy! Lucky you!

Kikajess, I saw that video too and got the idea there. My hubby just used what he had laying around and it is a little big. But it definitely cuts straight. Sorry I didn't post cutter pics last night, I knew people would want them but they didn't turn out great so I retook some tonight.
