Alabaster Scents- Are they any good?

I recently bought a few of the sale FO and was very happy with them
summer peach is awesome
crisp cucumber - doesn't smell like cuke but very nice. I renamed it china rain
ginger amber was one of my bestsellers this summer

I placed an order with them earlier this week and it came in yesterday. I have to say that with regards to the fragrances that I ordered I was pretty disappointed. They were much weaker OOB than what I am used to smelling.

We bought some of their little oil lamps (which are totally adorable!) and bought some oils that we thought would go nicely with them. They all smell nice but if we cut it 50/50 with DPG I'm afraid we won't be able to smell them at all. We also bought some fragrances to make candles with and after we smelled them both my husband and I agreed no way are we making candles with it. While they smelled "nice" they smelled watered down, not strong in the least. Since I have customers waiting for the scents in question, I placed an order through one of my regular suppliers last night.

We are still new at this and I'm sure it's one of those YMMV type things. Each person is different and has different likes and dislikes. We will definitely continue to get the little oil lamps there if they take off but for my fragrances I am going to continue to use the three that we have had consistently good results with which are Lonestar, Cajun and BCS.

We are just now getting into soap but I went and looked at their website before answering. Most of the fragrances we have and love are skin and body safe. Since they also sell soap supplies I feel confident that we will be able to continue to get great stuff from them. They are also very helpful if you have questions. You can call, e-mail or stop by (we drove from Texas to their shop in LA to save shipping on a 100lb order LOL!).

For some different smelling scents for candles try www.backwoodsfragrancesupply.com They do sell ones for soaps too but think the scents are mostly geared to candles. The pumpkin cornbread and lemon tarts are very unique.
