Adding Germaben II to rebatch

Hi Everyone :razz:

I want to add buttermilk to my rebatch. Do I need to add Germaben II as a preservative?

How much Germaben II per pound?

I do my rebatch in the oven; so when do I add the Germaben because that needs to be added at temperatures below 140°F.

I'm want to add Germaben because I'm adding buttermilk as my liquid.
 
When making soap, even as a rebatch you don't need a preservative. The high pH of soap does not create an environment friendly to "ickies" - technical term that. Unless you are adding whole fresh fruit, you're fine.
