Adding fragrance to oils?

Does anyone here add their FOs/EOs to their oils BEFORE adding the lye? I thought I read about that somewhere but wasn't sure how common it is. When I made soap 10 years ago I used the CPHP method, so I never had to work about things like acceleration or ricing. I'd like to go CP this time so now these are things I have to keep in the back of my mind.
Does adding the FOs before the lye help with this? How does this affect usage rates?

Adding your FO's to your oil before lye will help if you have a fast accelerating FO like a floral and it doesn't effect usage rates.
