Adding a liquid to a M&P soap

I want to make my first soap today using M&P. I want to add some homemade liquid seaweed extract to it. Can I? How Much? Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

your extract is supposed to have a usage guide. is it water or glycerin based? taking of an example of a water based seaweed extract i have at home, its usage guide is 0.5-1%.

I made it myself, so I guess you would say its water base.

I wouldn't go over 1 tablespoon per pound of M&P base.
