Tonight's soap is made with Greek yogurt and acai dragonfruit tea. Followed the same recipe that resulted in crumbly soap last time. This batch also gave me problems but that's because I soaped too hot. It was originally going to be blue, but I decided to go along with the natural color of the tea.
I infused the tea into my salt water for a few minutes before adding the lye. Got my oils melted and mixed everything together at a little too high of a temp. Whoops
Everything was going great until I added my yogurt at light trace. Instant gel. It was too thick for the SB so I had to stir the yogurt in with a spoon. I'm glad I had mixed my colorant and tea leaves into the yogurt. Otherwise they probably wouldn't have made it into the batch at all. All I had to add was my FO and I'm not sure how well that got mixed in.
But it smells good and I like the look of it Got it cut and only had crumbling on the bottom of two bars.
