I thought I would take a moment to step in and shout Hello to all!

I ran across this forum when I was researching a few fragrant oils, as well as soap making processes, and I made sure to bookmark! I'm getting into the soap creation ideals after a bad run on etsy. My favorite soap maker is getting harder and harder to deal with, or mainly, harder to get her to ship my product. I'm not unreasonable, I just feel two weeks with no soap a little much when it's pre-made before listing.

Anyhow, after researching the seller's scents, and finding them across the web, I've decided to give it a shot myself! After all, I don't want to give up my bathly pampering when the Oklahoma Summers skyrocket over 100 degrees. (Melted soaps aren't your friend, believe me!) I'm not looking to go horridly fancy, more the melt and pour soaps with my favorite fragrances for my daily relaxation aromatherapy time. *giggles*

Feel free to say hello anytime, and bear with me if I ask questions. I'll do my best to research first! :D

Can't wait to meet you all!
~Reba

Hey there, Hazel, and thank you! :D

I haven't started -quite- yet, sadly, though I'm dying too! *giggles* I need to wait until this Saturday before going to purchase supplies. Unfortunatly, I wasted my weekly spending money on the lady mentioned above before realizing I could do all of this myself. So...until Saturday I wait.

But, hopefully I can get things started then. ^.^ Or, a bit after, once the fragrances come. :)

Hi Reba.

Make sure you read all the tuts here, there is tons of info.

Your in for lots of fun! :)

Welcome Reba, I agree nothing fund about Oklahoma 100 + degree weather, and nothing made me happier than a soak in the tub after a hot day. I hope you find enjoyment in the making of the soap as much as using them.

Have you looked through the MP section and the Photo gallery yet? There's some very fancy & detailed looking soaps posted by people. I've looked at some of them and I'm amazed because I wouldn't have the patience.
