I haven't been on here in a couple months... but now that the holidays are over.... here are a couple pics of my recent soap. Nothing "fancy".

This one is a Watermelon with some witch hazel added to the soap:

Mandarin Coconut from NG.... AWESOME. Made with Carrots and Soy Milk. The soaps darkened a little bit though so they are no longer that bright orange color

The Lavender Mint soap is colored with Alkanet Root. I have got such varying shades using Alkanet. The last Lavender one I did was such a deep purple and this one is soo light. Oh well.

really nice Scentapy! i've been wanting to make a soap with witch hazel in it but have been afraid to try it because i don't know how it will react with lye. did you use it as your water (or part of your water?) and add the lye to it directly? any info on how to incorporate witch hazel is greatly appreciated!! thank you!!!
