a couple of location specific questions

I live in Minneapolis and am wondering if anyone on the forum lives in the twin cities and buys carrier oils locally (esp. coconut and palm)? Also, is there a local place to purchase lye? I have been successful purchasing olive oil locally at costco cheaper that what I would get it online, but some of the other oils are harder to find. I know that I can get coconut oil at SuperWalmart (in Superior, WI...my home town), but there aren't any close to me. Thanks

Check about for Indian grocery stores. I have heard of folks finding palm oil for very reasonable prices.
