2 tier colour bath bomb

ok hi im new here and a very first beginner at making bath bombs I have only recently perfected the right texture for them so they dont fall apart lol

now I keep trying to make a bath bomb with 2 different colours and i can never seem to get it right. one side always comes out crumbly where I have concentrated on the other side :evil: any tips?

also anyone in the uk here? if so where do you get your supplies from? its a bugger trying to find citric acid :roll:

are you doing both colors at once? if not, that is what i would do.

yes i am doing both colours at once...this is where i get the problem as when im doing one side of the bathbomb the other one dries up...obviously i also mix both colours at the same time. am i doing anything wrong by oing this?

i dont think so... wht i do with mine is put the mix for color 1 in then right away put the color 2 in then press hard, it takes me all of 30 seconds to do if that. perhaps you are just working too slowly or you need to add some more liquid, if so, i would use an oil not water or witch hazel.
