I thought you guys might like to see where I get my coffee in the mornings. Well, untill today that is. I decided to get off my lazy bottom & unpack the coofee pot that has been packed since we moved here 3 years ago. I can walk out the front door of my shop/home, trot across the street & walk straight into Caleb's diner. It's got character.

I have apot brewing in my kitchen now. If it doesn't turn out, I'll be running across the street  !

I am a geriatrics nurse & it is so cool to hear the old folks talk about getting *malted milk* for a nickle & sneaking into the back room to watch the original owner pull taffy, etc.

If you click on the first photo & look out the windows, you will see my windows across the street.

You're Ghost Posting again! (nevermind...)

That is so cool! I love your town, reminds me of Mayberry!

BTW - Is Dr. Pepper the State Drink of Texas? I see it everywhere when I "do Dallas".

Mayberry, LOL! Hubby & I lived in Dallas all our lives (well, I started out in L.A.) so this whole small town things is fun & romantic...

Isn't the Dr Pepper thing crazy? It was *born* not too far from here. When I go elsewhere, like Seattle, and go through a Burger Drive though & order a Dr Pepper they act like they never heard of it. Across the street they actually stir the syrup into a glass of carbonated water like they did 100 years ago, 1 glass at a time (gag). Tourists & locals alike love it. I'll stick w/ the coffee  .

The ghost posting has som, ething to do w/ the way I capture a www :? .

I so love small towns and I LOVE that shop! I love your shop too. Do you live above the store? Heritage buildings are wonderful. Here in Powell River the original townsite is mostly historic homes and people are working to keep them in good shape. In my part of town most of the homes are from the 50's & 60's - our house was built in 1959...

Oh my goodness Tabitha. I just loved your shop so much. I wish I lived close enough to hop in the car and spend an hour or two just looking and smelling everything before i settle down to buy ..... lillac for Erin. lemon lavender for my self.Oh I know send hubby there for hunting trip and I get to shop . :p :p :p :p
