Can anybody please tell me if you can re batch 100% pig lard soap - it began really well came to trace I then accidentally switched off the crockpot and left thinking I had put it on low realised my mistake switched it to low left for thirty minutes it looked like mashed potato (good) I thought left it to cool cut it but it is rock solid and crumbly and does not really lather can I rematch it?

Please don't ever leave soap unattended, even if you thought you turned it off. It can still overheat and volcano right out of the crockpot. You should stay with it through the process until it is in the mold.
