I was inspired to try 100% coconut that wasn't (gasp) a salt bar. I really like how this turned out, the bars are really neat feeling. Unscented & uncolored except for a bit of white mica I drizzled around the top. SF 15%, used coconut milk for roughly 2/3 of the liquid.

Starting to gel, I finished it in the oven

Cut while still warm, edges were starting to crumble

You can see how shiny and translucent it is.

I absolutely love the colours of both soaps and can't wait to see them cut. You'll have to let us know how the 30percent red palm worked out for you too.

Thank you. The palm soap turned out really pretty and surprisingly, it has a some what sweet woodsy smell. The lather is quite yellow, it may stain a white wash cloth. 30% red palm is a bit too much but I was expecting it. I just wanted to get it used up.

The colors aren't quite this saturated. The lightest bits isn't actually white, its a light yellow. I'll try for pics in natural light tomorrow.

Thanks, the swirls turned out quite nice I think. Just the way I like them. Its too bad red palm bleeds so much, it makes such a nice color. even my freezer paper was stained, very glad I didn't use a silicone mold.

The coconut batch looks like it going to be creamy and wonderful. I love the swirls you got with the red palm batch. It looks like veins running through stone. Both look great!

I love the red palm batch too, beautiful colours, reminds me of caramel and chocolate.

Oh WOW! So pretty! I have some red palm to use up too. I haven't decided yet what soap I'm going to do with it.
