Nope. Probably depends on where you are, though. I get my Roebic lye at Lowe's.

For me a lot of times it is really hard to spot the Roebic lye on the shelves. They never have more than one or two on the shelves, tucked in with all the other drain cleaners. But now I have so much ED lye that I haven't looked there for a long time. It's been really nice to have it in bulk.

I have recently purchased lye at Walmart. For a long time they didn't sell it. Look in the drain cleaner section, but make sure the label says 100% lye.
