I've been wanting to make a batch of soap using milk butter for a while now but I've been procrastinating. During the holidays, I made some cookies and realized the butter leftover was exactly the amount I need, so I finally did it.
Recipe is 50% unsalted butter, 15% rice bran, 15% wheat germ, 15% sweet almond, and 5% castor. 6%SF since butter isn't 100% fat. Added 1% milk powder and scented with Homemade Cheesecake from NG. I've never used the FO before and forgot it could turn the soap brown, so it wasn't the creamy yellow I wanted (it's more brown irl) but I figured I'd just call it choco cheesecake lol.
It traced faster than I thought but overall just slightly faster than average. Was able to unmold nice and clean 48 hours later as it was very hard.
