bodywash base

Hi everyone, I've been looking at using salicylic acid in a suspending body wash base to disperse the powder. All my research into salicylic acid suggests it should be dissolved, but if it's a suspending bodywash does it actually need to be dissolved? Won't it be just as effective as long as...
