I have just read an article from the Soap Queen blog in which they showed how to use red cabbage to test the pH of CP soap. It is a fun read. Here is the link if you are interested.

I wonder if you could use red cabbage juice for a nice blue colorant then? It would be interesting to watch the soap go from green to blue.

In the comments a girl said she googled it and the result of people trying it was a very stinky soap. She did not mention whether it faded with cure or the actual color attained.

At this link they use red cabbage's juice to turn it into a blue electric color for cupcakes (food coloring). So I guess it will be for soaping too...
