the soaps i've made (the oldest is now about a week or 2 old now), while smelling delightful, don't really leave any fragrance on the skin.
while I don't mind this, my wife is comparing my soap to soap she's purchased at a local craft fair (how dare she!! ). the soap she purchased was a M&P soy soap, and the fragrance does stay on your skin like it does with, let's say, coast or irish spring (a perfuming-type soap).
what lends to the scent remaining on the skin? is it my soap? is it the type of soap/EO/FO?
just curious. i'm sure people that bought my soap (as it would seem even though i'm not selling any yet, my list of customers is building - what have i gotten myself into - have a hard time saying "no" ) would also like to have their skin smelling of lavender and sage, or whatever.
