well i've been on a soap marathon this week as i'm making all my batches for christmas this week so far no noticable differences with tap water will see in 4 weeks time! :0)

ahh thanks we live in a soft water area so might give it a go I've been buying lidl spring water not mineral water i think it's 28p a bottle - if not it's very cheap but i'm going to try tap water on my next batch i think it might be worth a go. bek

Ok so i've just been reading the myths thread thought i would ask? Do you use tap water ? I've read not to so bought really cheaper bottle water but i've used boiled tap water when using fruit and herbal teas and coffee to make soap so is un boilled tap water fine? bek
