    RTM

    I am currently making RTM, which is adding hot lye directly to hard oils then adding liquid oils...it is very fast and I have had good results. My question is anyone using this method and if so..to gel or not to gel? Since it is hot I do wait for a cool down to add FO/EO, but I have edges...

    Gel Phase

    I am new at soaping and can anyone explain to me the gel phase of soap. Should soap go through a gel phase or am I trying not to let it gel ? Very confused only made 3 batches of RTM soap, it was very creamy but a large circle in middle showed gel..Is there anything I can do to prevent this...

    Newbie from CA

    Hi, I live in CA and have been soaping with M&P( 9months) and just started with RTM. I am hooked, I love to be able to control whats in my soap. I do need help with understanding about the GEL PHASE of soaping. I will look on the past forums to help me out..Thanks :]
