Do you prefer cold whipping or melting body butter?

I melt because I have other ingredients too. Then put in freezer for a bit. And then whip just before it gets too hard. Then I put it into my containers and chuck it in the fridge. Works pretty well for me.

CP soy milk soap shelf life

Thanks. Yours seems to have more in the list. :o I tried it... The soap smells like soy milk. Lol. It's uncanny. Now I just need to know how long it'll last.

CP soy milk soap shelf life

I've read elsewhere that it makes for a gentle soap. Plus the lack of lactose and other sugars in the unsweetened version helps prevent overheating.

CP soy milk soap shelf life

Hello. If anyone makes soy milk based soaps (as opposed to water) in CP, how long would you say it usually lasts? Soy milk doesn't have a very long shelf life and I wonder if the soap gets affected by that. Thank you

    Sandalwood?

Hello. I recently made a batch of soaps with 1% sandalwood eo. Oils are sunflower, coconut oil, and a bit of shea. The end product smells a little spicy. Not like sandalwood. It's not unpleasant. Just strange. Has anyone had that happen with sandalwood? Thanks in advance!
