    Adding lugol’s iodine to soap

    I am thinking if it is possible to add a drop or several of lugol’s iodine to a lye made soap. The iodine solution is 10%. To mix well I guess I would have to dilute into the water first, But iodine is quite alkaline and I’m not sure if this will upset saponification? Has anyone here...
