    Soap Box sources

I did not see a 'packaging' area, so thought I would post this here. I need to find some soapboxes that do NOT have a cutout. I can't find anything, other than kraft at papermart (which really is not what I want) without some sort of cutout. does anyone have a source that they would share...

Your fav make up and soap suppliers

I like supporting women owned biz as much as possible. Supplies by Star is one such. And she's also a very nice person. I highly recommend her.

    need COFFEE!!

I second Candle Science. And introduce Lone Star Candle Supply. I haven't soaped either of these two (as I use Coffee scent in candles, mostly) but both of them have a great, straight, coffee. I'd say Candle Science is my favorite, however.

    $850 booth fee

$850 for a show is very high to me. I've heard of some expos that are 2k or more. I just can't get behind one at that price level with handcrafted items. You'd have to sell like crazy to come close to breaking even.

    expensive craft show

I look at total sales minus setup. But I've never done a show that cost more than $125 for 2 days. There are many that do cost more, but from talking to people who've done them, it is hard to make the table rent back. I primarily do high school shows in the fall. Some are absolutely amazing...

First "Big" Craft Fair & The Recession

summer shows aren't generally very good for me. So I've stopped doing them. I wish I could find a market or something for year around sales. Sorry your experience wasn't more positive. But if there is too much to do (carnival, rides, events, music) than just shopping, people are distracted and...

Do you believe in the whole 2012 thing?

I had posted something but this site requires me to enter a code and when I did it wrong, it deleted my post. Interesting thread, I'm not writing all of my thoughts again.
