They do have a minimum if you buy from them directly. Works out to be about $500.00. Brambleberry I believe sells their base. I am sure there are others but don't have names. Maybe a goggle search can provide more names or members of the group can.

Not all MP bases have those ingredients in them. The base that SFIC puts out for instance is a great MP base without all the chemicals that some manufacturers have

I wrap my soaps in shrink wrap. There are some biodegradable options out there. I know a lot of people are on the hate plastic bandwagon but personally I would rather keep my soap free and clear of people's and especially children's hands that may not be the cleanest.

I think it has more to do with the fact if you claim that your soap does anything but clean ie you say it moisturizes then it falls under a drug because you are making a claim.

The only way I know to have a Crystal clear bar is with chemicals. I avoid all bases that are loaded with chemicals. The end product comes out clearer then you may think.

I don't know of any MP on the market that isn't made that way. Are you aware of a brand that doesn't?
