This may seem like a dumb question but I just can't seem to find the answer. How do you know what size mold to use? I know that it depends upon the recipe, but I'm looking at a basic recipe and moving on from there. I just bought a 2lb loaf mold. I'm hoping that that is an average. Clearly...

I did use lavendar oil for this batch. My other batches have been fragrance free and have been crumbly also.

My soap cracks while it is drying/curing. When I melt it down to make hand milled it is fine. Any thoughts?
