I was wondering. Could you add the sugar at trace too? I make my soaps with goats milk and when mixing the lye and milk together my milk is solid ice chunks because I find it doesn't turn colour by the time I'm finished adding the lye to it.

I'm using OO, CO, and Lard. I couldn't find castor oil....:( I'll try 1 tbsp per lb on my next batch though. Thanks! :)

It doesn't tell me how much sugar or honey to put into the soaps though. I'm pretty much a complete noobie (I've made 3 batches) so I need to know the amount needed to make a difference.

I make GM soaps and was wondering how to get more bubbles with it. I'm okay with the amount now but DH isn't liking it as much. I was reading somewhere about adding sugar to it? I'm still fairly new at making soap and don't want to have a bunch of wasted oils!! lol
